Rolldown Shutters for Hurricane Protection on a the Side of a Waterfront Home Near Wilmington
This home lies on the picturesque Intracoastal waterway. We installed 36 electric roll downs on the large openings that were designed to capture the beauty of this semi-natural wonder. Due to the colors of the home and HOA requirements, we installed both white and bronze shutters.
The rolldown Shutters is installed above an opening and are raised and lowered using an electric motor. The system can also be activated manually by crank. When built into a new home Roll Shutters are virtually invisible. While in the closed position, they not only provide storm protection, they also protect from forced entry and theft. When not in use they store in an enclosed box located at the top of the opening.
Even the front door is protected by an electric roll down at this home, providing security with the push of a button.
